I started kegging recently and I have some basic questions :
Pressure is set to 12psi / 2C (too cold - I need temp controller)/ 5500ft asl.

How much foam is the norm (viewed from the side of the glass) ?
Im getting about 75% foam which settles in a few minutes. Seems too much.
Ive been pulling the tap wide open and allowing the beer to run down the side of the glass - is there a better way ?
Is the first pull of the day expected to foam more ?
After pouring the last glass of the day do you empty the residual beer in the line or just leave it ?
