b-brite in keg lines/tap

so i went to clean out my kegs and lines yesterday to put some beer that just finished up on tap.

only i ran out of CO2 just after flushing b-brite through the lines.

so i've got lines and taps with b-brite stuck in them until i get some more co2 (saturday am at the earliest).

is this a bad thing? will the b-brite leech anything/eat away at the lines or the taps? they're the cheap brass taps that you get with a fridge conversion kit from midwest.

I don't think you'll have a problem. If you're nervous, just remove the faucets. Some of the cleaner will spill out, but that shouldn't be a big deal.

A suggestion:

Instead of blowing it through with CO2, I use one of those pump-handle sprayers found in the garden department of places like Home Depot to clean my taps. They can be had for about $10; all you need then is a little bit of vinyl tubing and a screw connector for the tap end of the shank. This way I'm not dependent on having CO2 to clean my taps.

excellent ideas. i hate wasting co2 to clean out my taps as it is!
