Has anyone entered apple juice as an ingredient in Beersmith? Just curious how you did it. The light brown sugar I used is already in there but was wondering how you handled apple juice.

Before the questions come up, I don't need to put it in there for any calculations. Im putting it in there strictly for logging the brew.

All you really need to do is take the OG of the juice by itself and add that as an ingredient. I kind of stopped since every juice has slightly different gravity. You can probably just use regular sugar for the brown sugar. Might be ever so slightly different.

Also, if you plan on doing the same recipe again, take the OG of the juice + sugar and add that mixture as an ingredient.

hmm...dont' remember, and I'm not on my beersmith computer. Its on my old laptop, and my new one is a mac. I would probably go with something below 8 SRM. It ends up pretty light after its cleared. Also, since its not going to be a major ingredient in another recipe, its not extremely important.
