Hi there,
I have two Sanyo 4912M refrigerators I found off of craigslist. I'm going to convert one into a dual tap kegerator with two corny kegs and use the other as a fermentation chamber.
I've been ordered by the big boss to reduce the apartment space taken up by my glorious hobby (e.g. carboys, ale pales, buckets, bottles, bottle tree, wort chiller, etc.). Kegging should allow me to clear out the bottling stuff.
For the fermentation equipment, what's the best way to economize space with my fermentation Sanyo fridge? Conical fermenter? Or, just stick with with ale pail and glass carboys for primary and secondary.
Right now, I'm just extract brewing ales. Would like to get into lagers. Ideal scenario is two kegs on tap and something fermenting in the pipeline minimizing space and time spent brewing (e.g. racking, etc.)
Thanks!
