Anyone tried this $10,000/sack pilsner malt?

Yea, I used it in an DIPA. I used these hops. I reused some old yeast I had in the fridge (I'm a cheapo).
It was just OK. I had it on tap for a while but dumped in the yard to free up the tap for summer beers.

damn, i'm so cheap...when i brew a $20k batch, i just leave the bucket outside uncovered!
edit: i also use the pope's urine as a 'no-rinse' sanitizer!
hmmm, wonder if anyone ever made cider with one of these?

Since AHS has been acquired by NB, that could just be their everyday pricing.

It was sold out when I tried to buy a couple of bags, but they said I could use a catheter if I wanted to take the P*ss.

Would of thought saving 178 bucks per pound would appeal to your frugal sensibilities.

edit: speaking of 'witch' i was haunted by the demon telling me, i should have either ran a batch, or brewed a batch....and i said f you demons, be gone! this damn sugar wash can't that bad to drink straight up! so i poured myself a glass for fun just to see if they had any ground to stand on....for a $13 dollar bag of sugar, i have a passable drink at 14% or so ABV, 10 gallons worth....
but damn, i feel lame drinking it, why i only poured a taster at 8ozs.....

damn, for that price! i'll tell the feed store to order me a bag of 'organic' barley, malt it myself and ship you two bags! i mean seriously if you're into it, i malt and ship you enough it goes freight!

The malt posted by the OP CMG sounds like the latest variety of malt grown in the region where pilsner malt started. The Crisp Hana malt is the earlier heritage variety that started the pale lager thing. Hana Malt | Crisp Small Batch Series | Norfolk Malting Barley
