sorry im on nights and over here in the uk its on too late anyway, Although i have stayed up in the past to watch it but normally fall asleep ;)

I didn't watch it last year- apparently TimeWarner and the NBC channel had differences. This year, the only reason I'm watching is because we're invited over to a friend's for dinner/dessert/drinks and the Superbowl.

I'm making the dessert, and bringing beer and margaritas. I"m looking forward to it- I haven't seen those friends since last March, and they are wonderful people.

Also not watching the superbowl. I'm debating whether or not to brew my second attempt at an ESB today, actually.

Nope, I am watching cartoons on Fox and making a five course Italian dinner for the wife.

I get up at 4 am so I doubt I'll watch the whole thing, but I will watch the first half--if I can get it on tv. I haven't had cable tv in six years. I really don't care about the superbowl at all, I just want to see new movie trailers and what not.

I do love football though but only NCAAF. Go Buckeyes!

Nope not watching it nor do I even want to watch it. But I tell you I would watch it in a heartbeat instead of helping my buddy pump his septic tank today. Let me tell you it takes a LOT of beer to make this chore bearable

I gave up on all spectator sports about 10 years ago as it was wasting too much of my time. I don't miss it a bit. Funny thing is, back in the day, the 49ers were my team, but no interest left at this point. Will be brewing a Roggenbier today.

I'm not in the mood for Superbowl yet...still pumped from Indiana's takedown of Michigan last night.

No. Spectator sports and porno. I'll play but I'm not watching.

I usually don't watch the Superbowl (or any other game) if I can help it. This year, we are having some neighbors over and I will be brewing a batch while pretending to have a moderate interest in the game.

The only thing that get out of watching even a little bit of the game is the ability to participate in water cooler talk.

You're not Amurrican if you don't watch the Super Bowl.

On a serious note I have no vested interest I'll watch the game but I'm mainly gonna be socializing with my family. The Super Bowl is another excuse to party party party in my family.

I am not watching either. Working and then grocery shopping and if no overtime I might bottle my Belgian wit and get a starter going for my marzen beer. Who has time to just sit and watch something anymore.

I haven't watched a pro football game in years or any other pro sport got that matter. I take that back I do watch hbo boxing occasionally.

Stopped watching NFL when I stopped watching tv about 5 years ago. Funny thing is that I was really really into it but now I don't miss it at all and even chuckle to myself when I witness arguments about who's team did what and yadda yadda almost as if they feel like they have some impact on their teams performance or like their teams performance directly affects who they are as a person.

Short answer though is that "no" I wont be watching it.

"I'm such a cool hipster because I'm too cool for the superbowl"

SMH...be normal and watch the dumb game. Don't be that guy on Monday who isn't laughing with everyone about that one commercial.

Started brewing extra early so I could be done and cleaned up before kickoff. I'm about ten minutes into the boil now, with four and a half hours 'til kickoff, so I should be plenty good.

SMH... or don't be so normal and do something productive with your afternoon. Be that guy laughing at everyone else laughing about commercials because when it comes down to it, commercials aren't in the market of entertaining you, they are in the market of selling you ****. ;)

I really don't care if people watch it. But do it if you actually enjoy it. Not because its "normal".

Hipster

Nope, taking the boy out for dinner for his 19th birthday, going to Fogo de Chao, a Brazilian steakhouse, his choice. If I were going to be home, I'd probably watch a bit. I don't think I've sat through more than one quarter of a game all year.

The only games I watch with interest are soccer. American football is a little boring to me.

I'm betting the folks that don't watch the game frequently wear skinny jeans with a suit jacket/blazer. Don't lie...

Hehe not really. I'm actually wear blue jeans and a comfortable fitting leather jacket when the weather warrants.

If "normal" means I hafta watch the dumb game so that I can be the one laughing with and not being laughed at then consider me abnormal.

Sorry guys, I'm just too cool to play along. There's more productive things to do on a Sunday like brewing a batch of beer!

I'm mid boil on my pale ale as we speak but you can be damn sure I'm gonna watch the Super Bowl after I clean up.

We went to one of those last week. AWESOME!!! It had been so long since I'd been to one.

Today is my sister's B-day also. Is his birthday today?

Im not watching it either, Im far too busy building my new mash tun and reorganizing my brew table set up.
Not to mention I dont like football, much prefer soccer as football is all start and stop.

Oh my, is Rob 19?!?! Good heavens that happened fast. for me, probably not so much for you!

So I'm making a apple dessert called, "Polenta-Pecan Apple Cobbler" with Breyer's vanilla ice cream.
And yes, I had to go to the store to buy sugar and flour since those aren't things I normally have in my house.

I swore I'd never go to the grocery store after church, as it's crowded. But I did. And my ice cream melted while I waited in line.

I forgot it was "SUPERBOWL SUNDAY" and all 5,000 people in town would be in line at the same time. I would have shot myself if I could have.

Never again will I go to the grocery store after church on a Sunday.

Pappers, please remind me of this next week. My memory sucks.
