Candida street. Now that's funny.

I would never have noticed if it weren't for my wife. She says, "Wait, a yeast lab is located on Candida Street?" I asked what that was, and she says, "That's what causes yeast infections."

Gross. And hilarious.

I remember the first time I noticed that and I laughed pretty hard. I figured it was just a science nerd joke (I am a science nerd).....but it did confuse me a little bit.

Candida is actually an entire different genus of yeast (the type that naturally grows in our body), so I'm not sure why they didn't name is 'Saccharomyces Street'. Just my $0.02

It's more subtle, only true science nerds would get it without searching
