This may seem like a basic question but this is only my third home brew (all of which were all-grain) but I could use the help. My question primarily is how much water should I be mashing with? And sparking? Thanks for the help with the noob question. The recipe is listed below.

All grain/ 90 min boil
Assuming 70% eff.
5.5 gallons

OG 1.058
FG 1.013
IBU 47

Mash at 150 degrees for 1 hour
collect 6.5 gallon wort

10 lb 2 row pale malt
.5 lb 15 L crystal

1 oz N Brewer whole hops, 8 % AA @ 90 min
1.5 oz Cascade whole hops, 5% AA @ 45 min
1 oz Cascade whole hops, 5% AA @ 30
1 oz Cascade whle hops, 5% AA at 1 min
2 oz cacade dry hop in secondary for 1 week
Irish moss at 20 min
American ale/ California ale yeast

I would mash in with 16 qts, then vorlauf and collect first runnings. Sparge with whatever volume you still need to get your 6.5 gal preboil volume into your kettle (this will figure out your grain absorption and later tun dead space for you).
