Bobby's BrewHardware is a true diamond in the rough.
I recently built a jockey box and sourced the majority of the hardware from Bobby.
One of the main reasons is that he is passionate about his business, offers quality products as well as unique items not available elsewhere for a very fair price.
Bobby is also very responsive to emails.
For example the 3-way CO2 manifold that I purchased, it came equipped with check valves and the end cap is threaded to allow removal for daisy chaining without replacing the entire plug fitting that others are equipped with. This may come in handy when our beer club is serving at an event and we need to connect CO2 to a second jockey box.
My son owns his own Plumbing business (small 1 person outfit) who tells me how much the digital marketing firms demand for including your business in search engines as well as other marketing costs. Due to his price for performance business approach he is proud that his marketing budget is zero.
I get the same vibe about BrewHardware, no marketing B.S., no "bonus/rewards points", just quality products/service at a very reasonable price.
My wife and I did some upgrades to our house over the last few years and we ended up hiring small independent contractors who owned their own business. Not only were their prices competitive than the larger comercial firms but they provided "extras" that we werent expecting and they took pride in their work which showed in the end result.
I am greatful that business like Bobby's BrewHardware exist in the homebrew industry and hope that his business thrives as I prefer to spend my money where pride is valued over greed.
Pics of my jockey box below (don't chastise the bulk heads on the back, I wanted a secure means of disconnecting the beer lines for transport) BTW the jockey box weighs in at 82.5#.
