I am getting excited!
Should have my all grain set up done in about 2 weeks.
I used 2inch aluminum stock for the stands, they are modular and attach together via 3/8 bolts. Leveling feet on the bottom, adjustable mounts for the burners.
Did a LP conversion on the burners and used Honeywell valves with pilot sensors etc.
All trimmings are 316 stainless.
Used 4 PIDs on the control panel, one for each tank and an additional one for a heat exchanger in the HTL (50ft of 3/8 stainless tube).
Including a boil over sensor on the boil, when triggered an alarm goes off and the gas is turned off for a set amount of time. The time can be adjusted from 5 seconds to 5 minutes, need to do soem testing to see whats appropriate there.
It would have been impossible if it was not for this site, big shout out to Lonny and Bobby. Like everyone else on here I feel like i know them due to all the articles on here and youtube videos.
When i have it up and running I will post a detailed thread on how I did the build as I ran into all kinds of snags. And yes this set up is in my attic at the moment, my wife was not fond of me calling it living room furnature. I even offered to put glass on the top so we have somewhere to sit our drinks down.
