Hi folks,
I'd just like my mind put at rest on this one. I asked my LHBS about the recommended extra dextrose to Coopers IPA. They gave me a pound of Corn Syrup Solids to add to the boil and a standard weight (I can't remember the exact weight just now) of dextrose for priming.
Does this sound like good advise?
I brewed it up last night, I and I'm keeping primary fermenter in 12" of bath water 70 Df, as it gets a bit warm in the house (SWMBO will freeze to death at anything under 74 Df).

1 pound should be ok for an average batch. Some like revolutionary brewer (diff name on here) do it regularly with good results. you just have to be carefull not to add too much. Too much can thin it out & make seem dry.
