I kegged a half batch (11.5 liters) of apricot wheat beer last week, and it came out way too sweet/fruity.

My thoughts are to add some hops for bitterness to try to balance out the sweetness. I've been reading about making hop tea, but not sure how strong to make it, or if there is a right or wrong way to make it.

I have about 1/3 oz of Mt. Hood and about 1 1/2 oz of Hershbrucker in the fridge that I was thinking of throwing either all of the Mt. Hood or some of the the Hershbrucker in a hop bag and boiling it in 2 or 3 liters of water for about an hour.

Am I on the right track? Thoughts/input from the more experienced brewers would be greatly appreciated
