My recipe called for LME for last 15mins of my pauliner clone heff, but I couldn't find the specific one I wanted so I opted to add the equivalent in DME. Are there any strategies to getting the DME into the boiling hit wort without it clumping? Any help would be great!

Not that I know of. If I'm not using the whole bag of DME, I'll pour the amount I want into a bowl. Then I'll turn the flame off, stir the DME and dip the bowl in to get what I can out. The DME will break apart in the boil. It gets messy if you try pouring it from the bag.

I pour into a large measuring cup that I can dip into the wort. Does well.

Pretty much what Les said. I use a stainless bowl, and try not to burn myself when I dip the bowl...

I burn myself every time. Worthy cause though.
