accidently smacked the pack, how long can it wait?

The title says it all, went to make a starter for the homebrew club this weekend and grabbed the wrong smack pack, hit it, swished it around to mix, and then realized that the yeast is for my own stove-top brew, that I cannot make for a few days. I put the pack back in the refrigerator, can it stay there for a few days without harm?
