Acceptable grain millage

Are all those hulls empty? if so, then the size of the cracked kernels looks pretty good. It's hard to tell if some of those grains are completely intact still.
 
I would guesstimate 95% are empty hulls. The rest slide over my rollers instead of between. I need to tape the hole shut I think.
 
Is that milled dry or did you water condition the husks first? If that's dry milling seems like it could be a bit finer if you want best efficiency from your mash. I don't like to see fully intact hulls because some of them are nut fully cracked.
 
Any tighter gap and my belt was slipping. Tomorrow I'll roll to the LHS and get a turnbuckle. Should be able to use that to tighten the belts. Thanks all!
