GATHER ye rosebuds while ye may,
Old Time is still a-flying:
And this same flower that smiles to-day
To-morrow will be dying

My friend lost her daughter in a tragic accident. Today is a great day to forgive, forget, and be happy.

Oh my, heart goes out to all. No parent should out live their children.

@applescrap ,Give your friend and their family a hug from HBT, just hold them tight and let them know others are here to try and help with the healing.

Dang. That's terrible. Sorry for their loss

Thanks guys, touching and classy. She is sooo nice. She's the person who you work with that says hello to you and gives you a hug every day. She brings me breakfast all the time, keeps a good attitude....im sick of this sh.t happening. Anyways appreciate the support , the Goodwill, and positive energy. Hopefully it makes its way to her.

Howdy folks, and happy bday, Point! So sorry to hear the bad news, scrap! That's horrible. Prayers out to the family!

Brewed up a stout and pale ale yesterday with younger cousin. He was supposed to bring a hopped extract Mr. Beer kit to use in the pale ale, but forgot to bring it. Had a pound and some change of dme on hand, so at least should get it over 5%. Yeast got pretty busy over night.

Cheers!

How did it go? The beers look nice and are quickly getting bubbly. Those yeast starters go to action right away.

Went well. Hot as hell yesterday, but had plenty of refreshments. :) The wort in both tasted great. Made hot scotchy's with the stout and some highland park 12 yr. Had about half the glass, and finished the rest on the rocks. First time making one with stout-wort (also my first time brewing a stout...), and it was quite delicious. The yeast are chugging along! Had an airlock on the stout, and had to switch to blow off tube this morning.
