You too now apple? Speaking in gifs?? Gifs show up on my phone like an hour after download them..have no way of joining a gif conversation.

Sorry I'm here. That gif was unrelated. I realized that it would appear that way, when i saw it. Higher og good right? The Dunkel is bubbling away rapidly as expected. I had a blichman and sold it for the electric, used it once and didn't like propane Brewing. Then after I spent the money for the electric realized I was wrong for not giving it a better chance. Now I'm wishing I had it as a back up. People claim good speed w propane i didnt see that. Water under bridge now. Just glad I didn't get too deep into electric.

How long to ferment the Dunkel? My whole brewing process changing again. So getting used to it again. Just with the cheep burner, impressed with boil speed. Quicker then my electric stove.

I've heard those burners work great. Pretty much the gold standard. I like that you're changing things up. I usually go between 7 and 20 days. Depends on need. I try to time my one keg circle of life for longer fermentation. I figure the longer the better, but if its done and needed i keg it. My nose tells me everything and this ones primary ferment is pretty much over. It smelt stanky and was bubbling this morning, now nada. Honestly smells like exactly what it is. All these little hopped simple grain bills smell like this one i notice. Bready, grainy and faint in odor. A perfect blank canvas. Without the dark grains i have made beers like this to add pumpkin, lime, rasberry, but never used lager yeast. At $16 I can see myself making more of this
