I'm pretty sure I got the answer right to Duff's question. It required some google-fu though. Thank goodness I'm a triple-black-belt in that.

Can't see this, but I'm sure it was heartwarming.

You have a short memory. You posted a pic of a beer around the time you showed your stein collection. Some Saturday afternoon probably about Feb 20th or so.

One pic had a ceramic jug/jar with a handle and a label that read " Johns Beer Money" partly obscured.

I think it was next to your PC. I may have any or all details wrong.

I figured John was the dog's name

I got a couple 8 ounce pours of KBS at Founders and since it's over 12% none will be sold in Ohio so that will most likely be all for me this year. Western Michigan is a great beer destination I would recommend it and I will be back to hit up Shorts, New Holland among others that I didnt get to in just 3 short days.

We're pretty lucky. We don't get to GR as much as we used to with the kids and all but breweries are still popping up everywhere over here. Sure some of them suck but a lot of the new ones are surprisingly good. And Bells, NHBC, and Founders are awesome.

Bout to head out to do the beer and brewery tour. Not sure whether to expect mainly just talk about the macros or some info about the local micros. Hoping for the latter.

After seeing a lot of these pilsners I am convinced I've got to try the decoction. They're a nice golden color, not the typical bright yellow of a macro lager. It seems a lot of the big ones also do a dark lager. Then they also have a 10*,11*,12*, and some have a 16*. Those mean their original gravity in * Plato.

Photos later.

I need to brew soon. Been itching for a while because what I need is more beer.

If it itches that bad just shampoo the living hell out of it.

I haven't. Was that on the extras or something? I can imagine some pretty stealthy schtuff there.

No.. its much worse than that. I watched some entire show on how it was made and stuff. Its my favoritest movie in the world. Cuz nerd. They just had all the extras go into these huge tents that were just lined with weapon props. Take what ya want. Get out.

If you want to pick apart the seen at the end, when he throws the sword and they all start running, watch the weapons. You will see the 'metal' flutter in the wind, ripple from impact tremors and just generally flap around. Its kind of funny and in a sense doesn't ruin the entire experience for you.
You can catch similar scenes in other fight sequences, but its mostly prevalent in that last shot.
