Crappy, rainy, cold day and I still feel like poop. I need to leave for vacation NOW!!!!!!!!!!

Me and the boy sit down and watch Robots in Disguise every Saturday morning when the new episode is on the DVR. I have no idea why they run that show at 5 AM on Saturday morning. It's great. He just discovered Phineas and Ferb, which, thank God I get to watch Phineas and Ferb again. He's also into Octonauts, which has its moments, and Paw Patrol which definitely doesn't. We're a no Spongebob household. Long standing rule.

My kids are obsessed with Paw Patrol right now. My MIL is feeding their obsession with toys and cups and what not. They watch Octonauts sometimes, I don't mind that.

That is the best of the more recent kids shows, in my opinion. I used to watch that every weekend with him kids when they were younger. I don't see it on anymore.

There's an hour long Star Wars themed one that's really worth a watch.

Oh we're rewatching Star Wars Rebels now too, and the Lego Star Wars Yoda Chronicles. I don't really count Star Wars cartoons as cartoons because Star Wars.

Theres a dark maple inlay around the perimeter with some intricate workmanship. Its what made me want to tear up all the carpet and then save/repair the original floor. I'll have to snap a picture tonight

I loved Ren & Stimpy, but like most shows I was never religious about watching something. I didn't catch a lot of things I liked on tv because I didn't really care. Usually, if I saw a lot of something, it was on during lunch or sometime I had a reason to be home and near the tv. Otherwise I was usually out in the woods ****ing around.

"Good Idea, Bad Idea" skits on Animaniacs slayed me though. Not even sure if I liked the rest of the show, all I can remember are those parts. In particular:
good idea - take a deep breath and jump into a pool...
bad idea - jump into a pool and take a deep breath...

QOTD: Not so much a gateway beer, as a gateway location. Way, way back when I was in college (mid-80s - gasp!) we would go to this pizza place called Tasty Pizza. We called it ****ty pizza, but went frequently because they had about six coolers with beers from all over the world. Plus they didn't card. That was pretty key to the whole experience come to think of it. Still, that opened my eyes to the wide world of beer back then. I still drank way to much crappy stuff still (Drueries being chief among them - at $3 for a 12-pack you could get a lot of drunk on for little money!)

Busy day so far. I printed a dwg, then found an unconnected line from the previous revision. So I got to go in and attach the line and reprint it.

QOTD: I didn't like beer at all until I spent two weeks in Germany when I was 20. I got to have authentic helles and hefe's and was blown away. Then went on to spend the next three months in the UK and was able to try all kinds of wonderful English ales. This was the mid 90's and when I got back there was really nothing like it available. Somehow ended up drinking a lot of blue moon and Stella for a few years.

At the DR now waiting to be seen. 4 days in a row of sick is too much.

What was the beer that got you into craft?

Sam Adams began the journey. Grimbergen Tripel was what got me into homebrewing. Because the homebrew store/beer shop was what they guy was running while renovating the space for his brewpub. The beer culture in the area was really backward at the time (1993), so he said if I could drink a Grimbergen Tripel, he'd give it to me for free. Challenge accepted and conquered.

Same here. I don't think I ever disliked craft beer, just couldn't afford it much. Drank a lot of Bud Light and Miller High Life, and Shiner Bock when I wanted to "splurge for the good stuff".
