Pku time.

You are significantly older than I assumed.

Is it cold and lonely in Norway this time of day? Well whatever you say I doubt you could convince me otherwise. Could use some more friendly friends

It was pretty chilly on the ride to work today. But they have a saying here (translated, so it loses its rhyme...): there's no such thing as bad weather - only bad clothes. (Det er ingen som heter dårlig vær - bare dårlig klær.)

Not really lonely though. At work with the one who's got adhd today. Adds about 15 mins to pkuing because of all the up and down stuff.

120 is ****, it's complete syrup. I cant think of a single DFH beer that is more than just OK (60 and 90)

Theobroma was pretty decent, especially as it warmed. The booz we was definitely in check and it tasted really good. Not sure if they still make it or not, though

Love some tabletop games, but I'm not quite the nerd level you are. I stick to carcassonne (with like 6 extensions, sometimes all at once) or settlers. Sometimes risk, but that one's so time-consuming.

Hey now... I'm a closet nerd IRL. Almost nobody knows my dirty secrets, except for the few I've tried to get into it as well. But I didn't push hard.

My brother might have an idea of how bad the geekotosis is, but that's pretty much it.

At least you got the cardboard tube fighting going for you. Anytime I feel like a nerd I just remind myself that I'd smack most people on the field.

I'm not sure that helps the overall image.

Most people have no idea what I actually do there... Other than dress funny. Few of my good friends have seen some videos, but I don't ram it down anyone's throat either.

Except you guys.

I didnt like it too much either. Admittedly, I really have a hard time with anything too far +10%. Tried a fresh 120min IPA and it wasnt pleasant.

I enjoyed drinking the one 120 I was able to score for the novelty of it, but it was really not a good beer.

The bierfarts the next morning were epic.

SWMBO heard me mention it a few times. Ten asked me to teach her. 1 week later shes just like 'learning curve too hard'.

I tried to get one of my college roommates to teach me to play MTG. Every time I thought I had a handle on the game, he'd do pull some new bullshirt move I hadn't heard of yet and be all "by the way, that's also a rule. I win again."

After a while I wasn't sure if MTG was an actual game, or just some really elaborate prank. It didn't take me long to give up.

Happy Friday everyone!

Dick. I read this before my first cup of coffee was ready and you got my hopes up.

Some of my dorm friends used to play Munchkin, which I gather is like a dumbed-down version of MTG. It was the same way....well, that and I think they deliberately fudged some of the rules. One player would set down their winning play, and everyone else would go around the table about 3 times to find the perfect combination of cards to make them lose.

**** that, I'm getting drunk and playing Smash Bros. with the guys down the hall.

37, and I'll show my age. I don't care for super fruity IPAs. Every once in a while, they are ok. Just a fad to me. Centennial, Simcoe, Columbus etc. Are where it's at.

I will wreck faces in smash. Wait, n64 melee or what? Actually, doesn't really matter. As long as marth or captain falcon is unlocked you aren't getting off the ground

I was big on MTG back at the beginning of high school, like first gen. I had a box full of those cards that are now going for hundreds, and could be worth potentially thousands, now. I absolutely deplore my brother for selling them all at a flea market for probably a few bucks while I was deployed.
Talking Lotus petal, the complete mox set, mana vaults, multiple nightmares and demonic tutors... makes me real sad just remembering

My suggestion was youbelaborate on How you got nearly arrested

- Used to put jumper cables on railroad track sensors to make gates go down. Accidentally stopped a cop one night, he chased us into woods. We made it away due to knowing where the barbed wire fence was.

- Drove drunk once. Handed him my insurance when he asked for my registration. Got breathalyzed. He stared me down. Told me to drive safe. Whispered wtf the rest of the way home. Never again.

- Sword in public on Halloween. Sent home with a warning.

Thats. All I can think of. Nothing crazy.

It was Melee at the time. I used to dominate people with the Ice Climbers...not because I really liked the character (really they kinda sucked) but because people got royally pissed off at getting beaten by one of the "cutesy" characters.
