What am I tasting here @m00ps ?

The first few sips were just the same ol brutal belgian yeast profiles, although muted. Slight hints of peppercorn etc. Now as it's going on I'm getting a very faint almost blackberry fruity aspect that I'm digging.

Damn yeah I just finished that and really enjoyed it at the end. ****. We'll see about the other two. I think I need an IPA first though.

@M00ps Sacral IPA

It's a damn good IPA. Not sure if you want my critique-thoughts on it but I think the hop blend is a tad strange? The nose is just BAM, fruity! But then you get hit by an earthy hop when drinking? Maybe Columbus? It's still a good IPA but it throws me off a tad. Love how dry it is though, you my IPA bro. Not to sound judgmental it's a great brew, just I'm a cynical **** and find thinks I maybe wish were different.

Honestly it's growing on me quickly. First few sips were a no, but halfway through and I admit to it being pretty alright. Damn. First I lose my face and now I lose my anti-saison identity. I dont even know who I am anymore.

Don't worry, you still have your horse dag.

Spent the night prepping for our tax return appt tomorrow. Fun. At least had some bourbon. Then pulled a sample of my mosaic Equinox IPA from the cold crash. Not very impressed at the moment. Seems to dry and to bitter. Anyone ever back sweetened an IPA?

I'll take all of your too dry IPA sir. It's just a service I offer.

Gav, are y'all getting some insane wind right now? My mighty oak is whipping around like a willow out back.

Yea.. Nothing too ominous thankfully. It's real blustery right now, so much so that the water in the toilet was bobbing up and down with the gales. (I was standing to pee so had a good view of this toilet bowl phenomenon. )

Night all.

Found a pair of sixers of blood orange gose in my garage beer fridge. Its door has been blocked with various crap for the past couple months. I think this beer is better for this weather than it is for the fall/winter when I find it on the shelves. Delicious even with some age on it.

I like my IPAs to finish with a bit of sweetness. FG of around 1.014 is perfect for me, and I always toss in a bit of crystal malt.

Just finished a rye ipa. After having had a HB blonde. Now the debate of "bed, or one more beer?"

Is that the Anderson Valley beer everyone drinks?

ISO

Hmmmm...I think I like Toby's more than mine, but only because his is sweeter. This is still way young too.

Those jerks aren't supposed to be on the couch. That's supposed to be a rule. I'm not a damn cop tho.

Yeah more beer wins almost every time, unless I pass out in place.

Yep, I went the one more beer route. Made a compromise though - it's a regular bottle (330ml) instead of 500ml, and it's a session IPA.

Can't wait to brew the black IPA this upcoming weekend. Not sure what I'll make after that. Possibly an ESB or a porter.

Mike. I will take your trivia team to the top. Move me to Littleton.

Our typical team is myself and my wife and one other couple. Tonight we had 5 teams bunched up between 125 - 140 points. Last question you get to wager how many you want to bet, all or nothing, based on the topic.
Topic: acronyms.

Had 130 points, bet 128. SCUBA, SWAT & TEOTWAWKI. First 2 are easy...Only 1 team got them all.

Tl;dr

More beer - HB saison

Well damn. I would not have helped. Which is rare.

Yeah, I'm full of useless trivia information.
TEOTWAWKI = The End of The World As We Know It, which is total BS as an acronym, but apparently is gonna be sweeping the nation like 'baby fish mouth' in the near future.

Dammit one of my favorite songs from 1988 too.

Watching last of sharks game drinking this. Crap St Louis scored.

Picked up a nail in one of the truck tires between the BBQ place and home. Said flocc it and put spare on. Don't feel like plugging the tire in the dark, with my luck it would be flat in the morning and need the spare anyway.
