Man do I miss the burg. Lived not far from down town for 4 years. If you are in the mood for driving around, take a trip up Beach street, then into coffee pot. Some beautiful historic houses there in Old Northeast. You can park along the street and walk along the bay there for miles with awesome views.

I used to grab some fast breakfast and sit at the park and just people watch. Lots of active people there. Also, Old Northeast Tavern is a real cool neighborhood spot for locals. They do have some nice craft beers but nothing crazy. Good food too.

A little bit extra since mine was about American football (that was for you Gavin), on my team this season our call "Buffalo Bills" is a zone running play. Not sure what Buffalo has to do with zones, especially because all of the other plays are alliterations. Unless, of course, it was meant to be spelled "Billz."

Also, we have one play that's called "Flex Right Blue Bills F-Screen."

White stout attempt that basically became a smokey blonde. Not even sure what went wrong. Could possibly be the LHBS had the smoke malts labeled wrong. I think it might actually be starting to get a bit milder, but in the beginning it basically just tasted like scotch and beer mixed together. Still smells like whiskey only. Damn shame too cause now it's at filtered-quality clarity.

Guy at my work has a friend who home brews. Got a bottle for me to try, called it "Arm in the Bucket Lager." Not sure how happy I should be to try it. I've put my arm is in a bucket and even though I had put it in a bucket of star San first, beer was full of off flavors.
