Hi friends. Dealership didn't have my tire in stock so I have to wait til Wednesday most likely to get my tire replaced. Sucks. HR wasn't waiting in my office with a box this morning. That's good.

Hopefully they give you the benefit of the doubt. Good luck.

lol jesus man, that's dedication

The only reason I'm checking so often is so I can post the cutoff at 19,750 and notify everyone like I promised to do.

Which was dumb of me. Actually, taking on this whole thing was dumb of me.

I'll probably quit HBT after the 19,750 post.

Are you old enough to be on this site?:p

Nope, I mean yes.

OK there it goes, cover blown.

I am really 8 years old, I do not fit in at school because of my maturity. I fit in with more grown ups, most of you appear to be grown up, but there are a few that I question.

Here is a pic of what I really look like.

You are doing well, man. Nobody has any complaints and everybody is looking forward to it.
If you want to run something difficult, try running the BBOY thread. Its been MIA for like 3 months now :(

A few friends use it.. hate it. Pretty sure they only use it to confuse others.

There are other Philly colloquialisms floating around there that I catch myself using all the time. I almost never use Jawn.
Youse guys I use a lot.
Wooder (instead of water) is just part of the accent, I guess.

How about a Critique my Recipe thread within this thread? Ok, sounds good.

Tell me how much this is going to suck, but don't tell me to change anything, because I brewed it yesterday.

Hate to break it you, but pretty sure that's NJ. Not Philly. My whole dad's side of the family is from New jersey. All day wooder and doahwg. I have cousins that grew up in Philly and never heard them say that.

That's not as unique to Philly as dawn, but it definitely is used here. Typically like "hey, youse guys - lets go get some wooder ice"

This is a favorite in our area.

Too much crystal and any rye is too much rye unless you put the word rye in the name in a really unwitty way. I was actually about 30 seconds away from posting my recipe as well.. ready to get back into it asap.

Looks like a delicious dank Rye Pale to me. You still using notty for everything?

Just talked to HR. If he's gonna fire me he's going to have to have more than this wreck to go on. I'm sure he's got a couple of gripes, but I have zero write ups and one other wreck in my file.

I'd drink it.

Well that is good to hear. Glad the worrying was for nothing much.

Oh, and Hi!

And coffee is needed this morning. Was trying to go to sleep at a reasonable hour, looked up and it was 1. The best laid plans and all of that.

Seems I'm coming down with a cold. But I have too much work to be able to take time off. Great.

I'd classify it almost as an inner city Italian slang/dialect/accent, for sure. You would hear that in Brooklyn, some places in Jersey. I've heard them in Baltimore, too.

Morning. Are we getting 20k done today?

No noose is good noose.

Words to live by.

At least the HR guys knows he doesn't have a case. The boss can still make your life miserable though.

My main complaint is that it won't be in the 20k box you'll be sending me.
