Coffee. Gotta head out to LHBS and pick up new yeast I guess. Started I made from slurry yesterday doesn't seem to be doing anything.

Got to sleep in again today. Time to make some coffee. It's a gorgeous day, so I think something needs to be done outside... like drink beers and relax.

@Psylocide I think my Coal Miner's Butt Sweat should be ready before too long now. I was gonna bring some on my weekend trip to the Black Hills to drop off on my way back, but I don't feel it's quite ready yet. and I was on time constraints on the trip. but next time you're out this direction or we're out your way, I'll make sure you get a few.

Roasting: Sumatra Wet Process Gunung Gayo. Notes say stuff about black currants and burnt sugar and butter chocolate. Will have a cup before it goes in Steak Toaster, but I'm pretty sure this is going in Steak Toaster.

Drinking: Brazilian Tres Vizinhos Peaberry. I'm ordering 8 lbs of this stuff. Ridiculous.

4 o'clock dude? Lol.

Morning all!

Let's kick this day's ass eh??

I'm actually thinking it'll be Monday night.

Psh ya. Too much sugar at wine and chocolate event. Also way too many people there but wife had fun. Castle was cool but too preserved to feel authentic. Keezer should be here any minute. Stressing over dishing out that much cash, need get it over with.

So she didn't mind the surprise being blown?

HB with lunch. Leftover mac & cheese.

Check the beer line size when you get it. You'll likely want to swap out the lines if it's set up for commercial beers as they're usually shorter and a larger inner diameter than what we would want to use. I'm pretty sure my lines are 10 or 12' long.

Coffee. I'm like 2,000 behind, no way am I pku all that. Hopefully getting a new phone today. Then I can waste time at work again!

Looking good for making 20,000 by tomorrow night. That's the cutoff right?

Ugh. My sleep schedule is so screwed up. I am going to have to start setting up a strict bedtime for myself. This staying up until 3-4am and sleeping until 11 stuff is getting out of hand.

@Hello ...

I am a night-owl. This was probably the 2nd earliest start I've ever done, but AG definitely takes more time than extract.

Sorry to hear your back is still bothering you. I know that pain, so I really do feel for you.

Anytime you might need some help, let me know. A 1-gallon kit sounds interesting!
I was contacted out of the blue and sent it. I feel badly for not having brewed it, but I slated the brew day for this last week or this weekend. It's not working out so well.

Water for now. It's nearing 70F today, it's great outside.

Sign up for the 20k lottery, only will cost you one bottle to enter :)

25 minutes left on the 90 minute mash. Sparge water is heating up. Drinking a Lake Effect IPA from GLB.

Mroing. Wife made eggs and hashbrowns while I slept in. Not sure what to do with the day now. Was raining earlier, so dog park probably a bit too muddy.
