I worded that badly. No, I am definitely not somebody different at work. Maybe I'm a little different at work because it is work and I kind of have to be more assertive. I don't know that it transfers to my personal life much. But the point I was trying to make, poorly, was that what was mentioned had to have come from knowing my untappd user name. At best, I would want to be careful about checking in anything while I am working. I definitely don't drink really while working, but I have had a beer here or there and checked it in during work hours. I think that would be frowned upon and I don't want anyone thinking I drink all day while working.

ooo good point, I got you :tank:
Guess I should be doing the same, I probably wont and will probably continue to day drink from my desk, but I at least considered it for a minute

I keep telling people I'll bring in some HB and never do.

It's pretty fun.

There's one co-worker whose husband HBs that I can reliably trade with. The couple others I shared with never brought back the bottles or even referenced it again. Now I go by your method.

Call it a 'late check in'

I tell most people that they either have to come to a brew day or an event the club is serving at to taste my beer. I'll bring in homebrew only for a couple people here. I have done homebrew for the white elephant game at the Christmas party also.

That was actually a business model that my wife and I were working on. Hop on the bus or luxury van and we would take you around to explore the history of the city in regards to booze/beer and to a few hot spots for different food items. Examples would be to show you the exact location that William Penn commissioned for a cave to be dug out for the first Philadelphia brewery, the place where the first lager in the country was brewed, the location of the bar where the Marines were founded, things like that. It would of been great...but when we finally had everything figured out, three of the same sort of business popped up and two failed shortly after.

Was any of this included in the tour? If so we're cancelling our trip to jazz fest to New Orleans and rerouting to the city of brotherly love.

I made three gallons of an apple pie moonshine for a Christmas party and got everybody absolutely hammered. The owner got so smashed he wound up ripping art off the walls in the hallways and throwing them from the roof of the building.
Come to think of it...this was around the time of my last pay raise. I should do that again.

Met a dude at my wife's Christmas party that brews... I got a little too excited and we talked about beer for a while, then said we should swap some.

He then told me that he was brewing up a Gose and kept pronouncing it go-zuh, which - while it's the correct pronunciation - came across pretentious as flocc and I quickly made my exit.

Clarify this piece first....If it went last pay raise, then crazy art-tossing party, I advise not doing it again.

If it went crazy art-tossing party, then pay raise, go ahead and repeat.

Note to self...send Psy some gose if he wins

Shipping 4 bottles, 4 16oz cans, a box of pastries and two bags of air/packing material WOULD of cost 20.00 on the box I just shipped on Monday.

Yeah, but even that rate is unattainable to most without a corporate UPS account.

Entered.

Who is Matthew K on untappd? Anyone know?

No idea, not on my feed and I cross check friends in common before friending anyone anymore. Getting tired of all the "I want to have 5,000 friends so I'm requesting every friend of my friends" kind of idiots.

That's why I don't friend people I work with. Don't need them knowing how much I drink.

Definitely this. Can't have that afternoon beer if people at work will see it (and if I don't check it in when I have it, it just ain't gonna happen.)

Good work on the contest list @BGBC !

About to walk the dog before picking the child up from school.

Definitely time to say no-zuh and run!

Was talking to random guy at lhbs, asked him if he ever had the gose from the local brewery. He says, "um. oh, you mean the go-zuh?". LOLWUT? I'm sorry, I must've mistaken you for someone cool. My bad bro. Uh laterz!

Just like the salesman that asked if I meant a couch with a "shayz" that missed out on a hefty commission. Hey. Gofunkyosmelf.

Gross, coconut. Ate a whole bag of shredded coconut ( the sugary-sweet cake topping kind) once in middle school and threw up from it. Havent been able to stomach coconut ever since. A whole like 2 years later.

My my dont we have the picky little palate? So is your diet predominantly:
- IPAs
- Dark English Milds
- Tots
- more Tots

Maybe I'll send that instead of Big Flats to the contest winner.

Oh, saw your explanation last night.. didn't reply, because I was doing super cool grown up stuff. Or something. Now that you say it's Walgreenz beer, I remember seeing it last time I went there to buy Magic the Gathe... Lucky Strikes. It was like $2.99 a six pack. Almost bought some. Assumed I was better off splurging for Coors Banquet. It's that good huh?

Get you some brah. If you don't finish all 6 in ten minutes, then you hate beer.

USPS flat rate boxes, nyukkuhs.

I think I know the size your talking about, fits a 6pack pretty snuggly right?

Any idea how many youd be able to fit in the next size up?

Im just trying to figure out my best options. Ive been doing FedEx mostly just because I dont need to leave work early to ship the damn thing
