Hope you feel better soon. Back pain is the absolute worst. I had this nagging issue for years and years before I finally broken down and had surgery. It got to the point where I would lose all feeling in my legs from time to time and occassionally just fall over and not be able to move them for a bit.

Sounds dreadful. The pain is improved over last Wednesday, but it's constant and doesn't let up. It really bugs me and mobility is quite limited. I don't have my MRI until March and the follow up with the spine guy later in the month. I am hoping I am virtually pain free by the 3rd. I'm heading to asheville on the 4th then I have nothing but travel from there until the 18th.

Your ideas intrigue me and I would like to sign up for your newsletter...

We'll add you to the distribution list

Feel better soon... that's gotta suck, especially with a trip on the horizon.

Online bottle shop for the Plan Bee Farm Brewery membership society is supposed to open tonight for the first bottles. Supposed to be limited since they haven't started brewing on their new larger system yet. Hoping I can get a couple at least this round, but not sure how many beer geeks are going to try to crash their site the minute it opens up.

Grandson napping...I've had a cup of coffee and an Aleve, but my headache says go ahead, nap.

Agreed, own it.

Coffee. Pain. Sleepiness.
I am going to drag myself out of the house today to go by the bottle shop. Or that is the plan as it stands at this moment. We'll see. It's been a full week since I've done anything social excluding the one lunch I had out on Saturday.

I believe I am immune to pain killers and muscle relaxers. That is not okay by me.

That really sucks Jess. I hope it abates enough to let you travel without being in misery.

You mean, like all the ones that didn't get an El Catador membership on Monday?

Eating my oatmeal while waiting for the Brazilian peaberry to kick in. This is going to be a long day.

Uh, maybe...I think you had to sign up for Plan Bee by 1/31, but they're just opening the online bottle shop for the first time tonight.

Most of the serious geeks probably went for the 'Hive' (guaranteed minimum bottle amounts each month, 6 or 12 bottles). I just went for 'Swarm', basically pay a fee to have access to buy bottles online with no minimum.

When you run out of your good stash of coffee, do you just suck down the free office coffee that's been burning for an hour (just to get some caffeine) or do you splurge for some overpriced stuff just to have at least some enjoyment of what you're drinking?

Yes.

Actually, I full throttle... So I can't participate in this one.

If you've run out of good coffee you deserve whatever terrible things happen to you by exposing your tastebuds to bad burnt coffee.

I'm looking to brew again this weekend. This is my planned brew: http://www.brewersfriend.com/homebrew/recipe/embed/324913

I'll be splitting the fermentation (11gal batch) into 2 carboys; one will be dry-hopped with amarillo and bottled, the other I am planning to rack onto mangoes (frozen) and age for a couple weeks, plus dry-hop with galaxy. Should be fun.

Still looking for feedback on this, you lazy bums.

Hopefully the back will be better for hunahpu day. Atleast you can drink it numb lol.

Coffee. Hump day. Time to get a few test ready for tomorrow.

Either drink the chitty office coffee (and hate it the entire time) or make tea.

And there may have been at least one time I turned around and drove back home (I was only a couple miles away) because I left my travel mug of fancy gourmet chit on the kitchen counter.

Nobody ever talks to me. The one day I wake up just wanting to rip peoples souls out, everyone wants to talk to me. Even boss...
