At the BP release this weekend everyone was talking about how crappy the CS beers are now that you don't have to wait in line.

I'm not sure what I think of the new batch of Serenata. I loved batch 1. Batch 2 is oddly sweet, but I'm hoping with some age it will be more like batch 1.

I'm a fan of not waiting in line. .

Still bummed I didn't get over to BP yesterday.

I wasn't a fan of serenata. I think I have a bottle or two of batch 1 in the basement. I haven't tried this version.

One must ask ourselves, is this a friendly place for friends, or a friendly place for all? The title of the thread could be interpreted either way, really. Does one become a friend upon entering the friendly place?

Yeah, I'm a little disappointed that the trade value for CS has gone down, but honestly, I'm more happy to drink their beer in peace. If the price came down a little, that would be perfect. I was loving all of the petite sours that came out. I was going broke at the rate they were releasing stuff last year.

I think he's onto something. If the phone is in fact hot enough... given the close proximity to Area 51 due to the tightness of your skinny jeans... it just might work.

Anyone try either of these new ones from Ballast Point? Honestly, I just think they are going off their rocker with the success of Grapefruit Sculpin last year. Pineapple sculpin was alright, not nearly as good as grapefruit IMO.

Then we get to this POS. I saw it on the shelf and looked up the ratings. Not terribly good, or bad. But almost every review said something like "if you like watermelon jolly ranchers, this is for you." So after hastily changing my pants, I try one once I get home and its god awful. The alcohol is right there up front and it tastes like a poorly made vodka drink from like a highschool party. Ugh, I was practically running over to put my mouth on the kegerator IPA faucet to swish the taste out of my mouth

yep. And they are actually brewing their own beer now, so volume will likely not be an issue any more. Time and space in the foeders will be the limiting factor.
