Great minds...
Option 3 - boil longer, produce less volume and will have different profile due to hop addition times being off

Yep. Boiling longer is another option, but it would be the last option for me. Mainly because I'm impatient. Were are all the science people? Me no good at science and math.

Added at flame out:
A pound will get you about .007.
1.5 pounds will be close to .01

honey has a ppg of 35 ... this means that 1 pound of honey in 1 gallon of liquid will at 35 points to it... so to figure out what your asking we need to know how many gallons of barley wine you have. just take 35 and divide by how much beer you have. keep in mind that the honey takes up space in the brew and will change the final volume you will use in the calculation.

I managed to get 1.050. I'll probably stop added honey as I didn't really want a totally honey beer. Thanks again!

About to head out to the races. This is my son's first pinewood derby.

He learned a good bit on this adventure woodworking, airbrushing and what not. He sprayed his car by himself.

After we get back I think we all are going to the lake to enjoy this weather.

Have a good one you guys/gals

His is the BB-8, I built one for the adult race.

I was going to say, the BB8 car is slick. Love it.

He used my airbrush to spray the orange, I laser cut the BB-8 design.

He is pretty proud of it. He wants to airbrush a baseball helmet next. If he is willing to learn, I will teach him.

His, BB-8, came in at exactly 5oz which is the max. Mine is over 8oz, rules do not apply to us.

@banesong your kid sounds just like mine. He will find a cat or dog to play with anywhere we go.

There's not much people can do. I have to stay still and just get to a point where the nerves and muscles aren't all compacted against my spine. Or however they explained it. Friends bought me a whole fried chicken from Lowe's Thursday. I didn't eat for two days, I did eat today though, so that was good. I'm not good at sitting still though. I am watching all the TV! haha

Drinking another coke zero.

As I get older, I guess my recovery time gets longer...just like hangovers. I used to recover from my back going out in a day or two. Last time, it took two weeks, with muscle relaxants and Meloxicam. I finally stopped trying to push through it and spent two whole days in bed. That's what did it. Sucks to just lay there, but it's what works. Got Netflix? Time to binge-watch some series!

Kids have make-up snow day for year round school today...was up at 5:30. ugh.

Coffee and son's 7:30 hockey practice done. Time to relax on the couch before daughter has her last gymnastics class at 11. Beer and cleaning will commence after lunch.
