It was going into a carboy but the pulp still being somewhat frozen was too thick, wasn't happening.
May go in a trimary or what have you after a couple weeks.
@finsfan @WesleyS @BGBC How long?
Interesting fact: Swmbo's uncle was a drummer for America back in the day. Really talented dude.

Almost time for a beer, now that I'm not so damn tired.
You never had a shop vac in 20 years?

Banh mi, hungry.
WHERE ARE YOU?
Mark may actually have better advice since he has done a mango beer but my rule of thumb is two months for fruit.

Mmmmmmm bahn mi. That sounds better than what I've been making. Mediocre sustainable hippie sea bass (barramundi) out of the oven, roasted brussels sprouts and taters just about done.
What I want to know is how you ride a horse through a desert and don't have the common decency to give it a name. That's just rude.
Every part of that sounds great, except the hippy dippy crap. But, especially the brussels sprouts. My wife hates them, so I don't have them too often. Love them any way they're cooked.
That's awesome. America is one of my all time favorite bands for their harmonizing skills alone.
Plus, pretty much goes with out saying but, 'Murica.

Best restaurant I've ever been to downtown, a place called Zaytinya, a Mediterranean small plates place by Jose Andres, does a weird fried brussels sprouts dish that's one of the best things I've ever had. That and their Turkish Delight. Those two things are the reason we keep going back. Everything else is usually good to great depending on the day, but those brussels sprouts, man, those brussels sprouts.
I've actually never had Barramundi. But I do like Chilean sea bass (on the very, very rare instance I can afford it). This stuff is allegedly as good, at a fraction of the cost, and completely sustainable. The last part doens't bother me as much, but that's why I say hippie dippie.

Bara is a delicious fish. Hugely popular where I lived in Australia.
Just over three months, started at 1.045.How long has it been in primary on the DD?
2 months-ish probably, at least until first sample.
Lineage Brewing in Columbus OH. Beers have all been good, and they specialize in hand pies apparently. I'm half tempted to order another one of those banh mi's, so good. Super flaky crust, juicy and flavorful.
This guy gets it.
Sounds good. That's it! I need to arrange for my wife to go out one night and I can make everything she hates and I love for dinner. I'm thinking sushi for an appetizer, assorted seafood (especially oysters and crab) for the protein, brussels sprouts, and something involving mushrooms. Then more sushi for dessert.
You do not get to eat these things? Divorce her! Or at least indoctrinate your children so she is outnumbered.
Goddamit, now it's stuck in my head.
Yep. The only time I get to eat any of those things is when I eat at a restaurant. She has come a long way, though. When I married her, she didn't eat tomatoes, avacado, steak or any beef at all, venison, any fish, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some other things. Also, she didn't know how to cook. Holy crap, why DID I marry her?
Kegged the helles. Also picked up some gelatin so I can be cool like Gavin and post a liter of super clear beer later. Sample pulled of the brown porter, down to TG I think, still super yeast ofc since only brewed on Sat. Super good though. That brown malt gave off a lot of chocolate vibe from what I'm getting. Excited to try it out once it clears up a bit.
