The Hertz at SFO rents a Porsche 911 for $600/day. Might have to go that route.
How many cases of RR can you fit in that tiny ass trunk?

HB Pilsner on lunch break. It's actually a pretty good beer now that it's lagered a bit and the remaining yeast has dropped out, and I dropped the kegerator from high 40s to 30s. Definitely not a big fan of the classic american lager yeast though. It doesn't taste like a pilsner. Going to keg the helles this week and then rebrew a pilsner with the good deutsche yeast.
Was that yeast from your local brewery?
Also Helles/Pils season 365 or something.
Might be able to come meet you for a beer at some point, depending on your schedule. I'm smack in between those two cities.
I'm definitely the opposite of socially inclined, but I can pretend for short periods of time.
Dude. I so would. Beercations aren't in the budget though. I'll probably be laying hardwood that weekend if you wanna swing up to Weatherford. It's a really nice 5 hour drive, 6 if you come the back way through the hill country.
@finsfan is mighty quiet today. I hope a slab of full cans didn't fall on him.
I would love to dive through those towers of empty cans ala snow cat gif. That would be fun. Expensive but fun.

Makes me thankful of the friendly thread I tell you what.
Hrm... You come more towards the SAT/Austin direction, I can probably spring for some beer!

Nah, local ones werent giving out any lager yeast. Too busy brewing boring IPAs or something.
For me right now it's just sub 6% beer 365. DEMs, brown porter, pils, helles, pale ales. Cant remember the last big beer besides this sweet stout I brewed. Well, I can actually, it was an IPA. Still. #SmallBeer365
That's like, the exact opposite of my philosophy.
I hardly even look at beers under 6% any more... I'm drinking to catch a buzz first and foremost.
I thought you of all people could appreciate it, Mr Busch.
So drink three DEMs. You're welcome.
Honestly there's just something magical about these small quaffable beers. So dry and crushable, I thought you of all people could appreciate it, Mr Busch.
Wouldn't be the first time I met an internet friend down there. Hell, I went to ones wedding out that way. We swing by his house in Houston every time we're through. He's couch surfed at my place a few times.
I apparently have little regard for my own safety.
Taped the bathroom's fan on this morning. For awhile now some *********s keep dumping and then turning the fan off. Incredibly annoying. If this doesn't work I'll put up a sign threatening to cut anyone that turns it off.
Hey... Austin is only ~3.5 hours away!
The day has 9 more minutes. Gonna leave in 7. I am such a rebel!
Yeah... I made some (before you, obviously) and I had to use my 22 oz glass in order to cut down on the trips up and down the stairs (which were many).
My DEM was 2.7%... so it was almost a joke. Delicious beer, no doubt, but won't be doing that again for some time.
Yeah mine was 3.2 and a 3.7, I think.
When will you be in Austin?
Decided to go hang with the brewers and drink beer.

Water. Had about seven different samples before leaving work though. One of the conveyor motors seized so i was let off an hour early. Decided to go hang with the brewers and drink beer.![]()

Mine is a 3% beast of a beer. A fun tasty experiment but I like em a bit bigger. If I had more taps I'd keep one in the mix. Grain to keg in a week and they cost about $12 (excluding yeast). I am very much a bandwaggon hopper when it comes to DEM. Still secretly hoping the Alt craze will catch on.
Have they initiated you in the appropriate manner yet?
