I am usually $4$; I don't get all caught up in "rarity". Nothing wrong with looking for limited beers for limited beers.

I'm not about to trade a Westy for a suitcase of Busch Light, but would take a limited release for it.

That guy with the 4x MW...moron. Also the current problem with the culture poster child.

I've always thought approximate volume and approximate cost. Then again, the few times I've had a "whale" of whatever form, I don't want to trade it, because ********* I want to drink it.

This. But that's also why really rare stuff can command what it does. If I came up with a KBBS, no way in hell I'm trading it (it'd be hard enough figuring out when to drink the damn thing). However, if someone approaches me with $1K (I heard this actually happened), I might soften my stance. It's the people willing to go crazy and pay exorbitant amounts that make it harder for people like us to trade for major rarities.

Yeah, society only brew x4 for a nationally distro bottle with counts near 30k...good luck with that.

Most of the people on BEX are clueless about trading. I've only done a couple trades because of that. One was an actual fair trade, and the other was some guy who _way_ over valued what I sent him. That's why I tend to trade $4$ either here or on a select group of Facebook groups.

I used to think Barcade was amazing (still think it's great, the Jersey City one is 2 blocks from me ), but then I went to 16-bit in Columbus, where all the games are free. It kind of felt like cheating, but I kind of liked it.

LOL I don't make beer. Silly goose. @finsfan 's review of my saison was so bad, I just gave all my **** to my buddy. Going to teach him how to use it this weekend, not that I know how anyway. I'll probably give you a call so you can walk us through it on speaker phone if that cool. You're not doing anything Sunday anyway, right?

True story. I tried to get it done on here but no bites.

Rare was semi-rare around here. The only places where it didn't sell out instantly were the bars that are charging $100 for it on-premise consumption only. We were in TX that weekend, so didn't stand a chance (since TABC only approved regular at that time).

I bought a 4-bottle ticket for Huna day, but I really want to grab a couple bottles for friends. I have two already allocated and knowing me, I'd give the other away leaving me one. I'd prefer not to though. That said, these ****ers are asking $80 for a bottle of Huna...$80.

That's a bit ridiculous. Huna in $4$ value is 25-30. If you don't find your extras, let me know. Me and wifey are both attending.
