Insane. People get delusions of grandeur on some beers. TH seems to be spitting out cans every week now so while they are pricey as hell (~16-20 for a 4-pack of 16oz) they aren't *that* rare.

No one in this house can get it through their head that I can't walk away from a roast. It's really that simple. I'll be there in like 8 minutes, tops.

Kind of. This one is further away and I never go because of that. I was looking at a new motorcycle last night and decided to bring some bottles and stop on by. What you saw was maybe just under half of what we had. There were 7 night shift beers there from their barrel society along with two others from that brewery. That was probably one of the highlights. I found a Big Gruesome from 2013 that held up well (thanks @mcbaumannerb) and we mixed it with a Raspberry Tart from New Glarus. Yum.


Coffee. Actually taking it fairly easy night with small sips helped not feeling totally crappy today.

It took me a good while to find it definitively (searching won't help, most everything you'll find on sear is either people using the acronym with no explanation, or people asking about it with no definitive answer). The other one I didn't know was a thing and I'm clueless on.

Is it in the members only section? I thought I saw someone with a link to the thread in their signature recently. Didn't realize it was stored in the more EAC section. There are other threads with the answer in them, its just hard because you cant search for 3 letter words

I bought a 4-bottle ticket for Huna day, but I really want to grab a couple bottles for friends. I have two already allocated and knowing me, I'd give the other away leaving me one. I'd prefer not to though. That said, these ****ers are asking $80 for a bottle of Huna...$80. I told one guy no way. He said I'm the one in need. **** that, I'm the one who wants to GIVE it away...he got pissy and I told him he can go **** himself. Sorry, if it really is $80 for a bottle then fine, but @allenH sent me a bottle and I assure you, I didn't give him $80 in beer for it.

This is utterly retarded. Theres one goal for trading and only one. Are you happy with it? I can't really do dollar for dollar trades due to the inflated cost of the Philly market, but I have no qualms about sending more then fair value at all. If somebody starts to ask for DOUBLE of the value of something, the trade goes sour. You can find what you want a fair value and not pay into somebody getting ridiculous with their asking value. Double the cost of a Huna? No dice dude, good luck

Amen. I will do the same thing or laugh in their face. I got a 8 bottle of Hunahpu coming some are being traded most Ill keep to my self to drink. If you need an extra let me know.

All of the stuff listed on this is within spitting distance of each other. Id recommend doing everything on your own and getting ahead of the tour groups. Its much more romantic that way. If you dig historical locations and old houses, the Presidents House site is very cool and not a traditional exhibit by any means.

Yeah but every time I spit, it just attaches to my lip and lands on my shirt. That's why I could never chew tobacco. Just made a mess. I don't really do the touristy stuff. Poe's house would be an exception. Otherwise I rather just explore and find hole in the wall dive joints and ****.

I guess I'll have to figure out where exactly we are talking about. Reading/Poe/Masonic Grand Lodge and Masonic library are the only real definite destinations.

It should be pretty easy to pick up extra bottles in the parking lot of the pick up location, ask enough people and you might be able to snag them for under $30.
I have sprayed this forum with Huna and other CCB rarities over the years. Personally, I just try to set up a trade I'm happy with, not so much focusing on price or oz, more of can I get it, how bad do I want it. Plus consideration is given to good people who really want to try a Huna, but might not have the ammo to trade for one, I try to do one of those trades every year.
That being said, I had a guy from here (not this thread) FT-ing Black Tuesday tell me it would take multiple bottles of Huna or a BA Huna + 1 regular to get 1 Black Tuesday. Then had another guy willing to go 1:1 for as many I was willing to part with. One of them was told to pound sand.
