Well, I massively overshot my OG by 6 pts (higher than expected efficiency) so I've made a hefty hefe indeed. I don't think I'll get any complaints.

Starter pitched, and time to watch some WWII documentaries and get a little drunk. That way I have a nice headache when I get up early to go snowshoeing with SWMBO.

Not plastering- plastering is actually an art and a very slow process and completely different product than joint compound; i just used the joint compound to skim over the crap surface to even it out.

The gal just found this and we be reminiscing
So the couple in the middle of the pic is the gal and I circa 1985 or '86...funny thing is between that picture and now it's been 30 years , 4 kids, 2 divorces and everything else that life can throw at you! Yeah, we lasted a couple of years after that picture was taken and then lost touch, moved on and well shoot, here we are together again.
Ain't that a son of a gun?

No clue. I told them all this party was BYOB&F. If they don't bring anything, I suppose there are some crackers or chips in the pantry.
Actually it's just going to be me, my wife, and my parents so I didn't plan much. The pulled pork sliders, ABTs, spinach dip and whatever my parents bring over should be enough. I usually don't like big groups for games. Playing host to too many people keeps me from actually watching and enjoying the game itself.

I have an 11 lb brisket going on in about 2.5 hours for an overnight (12-14 hour) smoke as well. Could be interesting as I've never done one when outside temp get down to mid-20s like it's going to tonight.

So I have two sips of the regal before getting called down to the basement because the tv is acting weird. Not acting weird - it's dying. Flocc!! 18 months old. I don't need this after a hot water heater replacement last week.

Still under warranty I hope. Best of luck man. What brand was it? Led, LCD or plasma?

Cracked open a BCBS. It's fairly flat compared to the others I've had this year. But still tasty. No pick, to lazy.

That beer is amazing. Also... The banana is so subtle as to barely warrant recognition. The smoke was the star for sure, but it was so heavy on the back end... It was like, take a drink of a dark lager, then all of a sudden, I'm next to a campfire.

I think it's probably categorized incorrectly, but it's such a strange brew that they can call it whatever they want. It's just good.

Ooh.., and therein lies the problem.

If you want to brew at a moment's notice... You wouldn't be able to use your hot water heater as an HLT.

Ask anyone. It's been proven.

Beer sounds very good. You have a way with words. I want some. What style of beer is it?

At lunar New Year eve meal. No beer at it save for BMC and I was driving so didn't bother. What's the point. Food was great. Lost track of how many courses. Feeling fat and full. Beer presently.
