Cool painting.

Beer sounds very good. You have a way with words. I want some. What style of beer is it?

The Calling is an IPA from Boulevard Brewing Co.

At 8.5%, it certainly takes the label of 'IPA' seriously; unlike so many others that dare label a 6% can of bitter swill a 'pale ale' of the Indian variety.

Big tropical/citrus face**** of aroma, taste follows with a little added dank that isn't so immediately perceptible. Slight esters in the finish but not overwhelmingly so, sticky resinous mouthfeel that dries out well, yet pleasantly lingers.

1/5 wouldn't drink again.

Unless you meant Surly Nein, in which case, it's good as ****. Drink it.

So I have two sips of the regal before getting called down to the basement because the tv is acting weird. Not acting weird - it's dying. Flocc!! 18 months old. I don't need this after a hot water heater replacement last week. :(

Not a good week. 18 months? What brand?

What'd ya think? People are always put off by the thought of mushrooms being in it. But, it's not noticeable.

I don't think 1 person out of 100 could tell there was mushrooms in this. I know I can't. Light salt, like a weak gose. Good beer - finishing it now.

Damn dude. I feel your pain.

Just hooked the new one up, found out some Samsung TVs don't support ARC (audio return channel) via HDMI. WTF, even Vizio does that.

Good news is that Hulu actually works on this TV.

2013 edition.

Just put this beast on the smoke. Starting with cherry for a couple hours.

Drinking this. 2012 Evan Williams. Very smooth

Nice. You're speaking my language, there. I love using cherry. I usually do apple for ribs, but pretty much everything else gets a mix of cherry and pecan.

Home from dinner, having a hb IPA. 1st time leaving the baby with a babysitter. Far as I can tell it went ok.

Had a curling game today. Lost, but I did okay considering it was only my 2nd game of the year. My right knee is sore as hell though... it doesn't like full flexion yet, since it didn't bend much for 3.5 months. Having a honker's ale for now, then bed.

Doing cherry and mesquite. I usually do apple for pork, brisket gets whatever I'm in the mood for.

I'm quite jealous. I'd love to play it. Was geeking out some the other day exploring the science of how and why curling stones curl the way they do. Tremendous stuff. Various theories. Seems your Canuck experts and the Swedes' don't see eye to eye. Love watching it but have to wait 4 years between games.

I fear if I played this hack would never get out of the hack. Ba dum tsch... (It's late )

NBC Sports has been showing curling on Thursday nights. I watch what I can but the wife isn't a fan. I would also love to try and play. Not a lot of ice around here though.

One cup of coffee down. Early wake up call from the 2 year old. Glad I cashed in early last night. I'm jealous of all the smoked meats. Sompls that is a great story, love the pic.

Coooffffeeeee. Totally should have smokes something on the egg today. Fail

There is still time. Ribs are quick, relatively speaking.

Morning, all. Time to get the coffee on.

Morning brewers. Damn that's pretty. Just has a cup and a spicy burrito. No bbq'ing here today, just some wings over charcoal later. Must say after first smoke last week, it's addicting. Wife and I decided to be total bums and decline a couple of SB parties. Let's go Panthers? Sounds weird.
