I have a barley crusher now (that just broke) and have had good luck with it, but I would do your homework being buying one. Their customer service is pretty terrible. If you ever have issues with it, its pretty much yours to fix on your own. I know many people on this site that will never buy from them again because of that and other issues with it. After using one for a few years and being happy with it, I would still never buy a new one from them. Check out some options if you haven't already. It may be cheap but you get what you pay for. Just my 2 cents. Cheers!
I have one too. Upkeep with the damn thing is horrendous. I have to remember to adjust the gap each time I use it. I have to pull out the shop vac after use and get all the grain dust out as well as blow it out with compressed air. Even then I still have to take it apart every 3 uses and clean it. Otherwise it will "slip" during use which will completely stop the operation.
Also, pretty sure the gnarls are worn out after 3 years but don't have the patience for the replacement. Worked good for about the first three months and that was that.
Go big or go home.
Exactly. I have actually never had issues with this mill in 2.5 years of use and this is the first time I have ever cleaned it out. From all the negative reviews about them, I think I just got lucky. Wouldnt ever buy a new one, luckily I got mine used and cheap.
Where were you guys before I just bought my new barley crusher. Dammit.
That's the place!

This is by far the best mac & cheese I've ever had. It's so good it made me wanna slap my momma. They sit over at Love Park pretty often if you are up for a walk.
