Worth it just to watch Eichel. Kid's insanely good. But the Sabres suck and I'm not a Senators fan.
Leafs fan in Ottawa? Awesome. Fight the good fight!I'm a Leafs fan, so I think I'm pretty familiar with not giving a toss about who's on the ice haha
Looks like I might be $5.5 million richer as long as this six inch chick doesn't take it.

This email seemed very legit....

Haven't seen you post a camo Busch lite in ages. What with your stock losses I'm wondering if your portfolio isn't heavily geared toward some camo printing firm or a lite beer company.

Haha... I think my Busch Light days are coming to a close. I still enjoy it and will buy it here and there, but my money is better spent on bigger beers.
If I have to drink 6 to start feeling it... The money saving effort goes out the window.
What's cookin tonight? That looks like way more food than you have mouths to feed.
Yeah, don't wear that in public. Even I'll have to kick your ass.![]()

having my very last Horehound Belgian Strong. bottled 7-15-12. 10.6% ABV.

Bring it. Oh. And bring beer too. We can has drinks after some good old fashioned fisticuffs.
Just got to have my once a year fight with wife, what a week to not drink beer. On the plus side, least we shouldn't have another argument til next year.
Then on the dry days, she has to push buttons and make me want to drink. Fml.
Lagers, obviously
Good luck Gav.
I'd try every one of those, esp. knowing you made them.

Eh, missing one? Looked like 5 entry forms.
There's almost no such thing. ~1.1 volumes is the perfect amount for a Mild. As in, what is present at 55°F at 1 atm. I only prime by bottles and pins to 1.4-1.5 volumes. Any judge worth their weight will expect low carbonation.
Will forewarn you though, most BJCP are terrible judges of Mild as very few of them have ever had a good one. I stopped entering them for that reason. I recall one comp where my house Mild scored a 31, missed mini-BOS, another Mild on the same flight got a 32, barely made mini-BOS, then went on to win that category, and then take 2nd in overall BOS. End result, the judges had no idea what a Mild was supposed to be (I know this because a friend was on that flight and he told me, and then got a major earful from me about it, which in combo with another mutual friend doing the same thing about a different beer at a different comp, he doesn't judge any more, oops). If anything their complaints were backwards.
All the stouts variants are good, this one was terrible though.
You're crazy. These are all great examples of the style or just overall great beers:
Wheat
pale ale
80 acre
the calling
dark truth
tank 7
long strange tripel
funky pumpkin
all of their imperial stouts
rye on rye
love child
saison brett
BBQ
I just listed 13+ off the top of my head....
Bluebonnet, I assume? Hopefully Just Dave doesn't judge them on his third flight of the day.

What's with the brewing science discussions during the day when I'm working? Because then I have to read back through and resurrect old posts if I want to chime in. You all suck.![]()
I'm done treating tap water. First time a I built it from 100% RO and this is killer. MoMoClone pale ale FTW

Boulevard makes 5 good beers, maybe.
They are a gateway to craft and make a winner once in a great while.

I think that's true of many styles, honestly. Usually the people most familiar with a style and good examples of it are more likely to be entering that category rather than judging it. I always wonder what would happen sneaking in a classic example of a style in a comp. I think they wouldn't even medal 90% of the time because judges let their own personal preferences outweigh what the guidelines clearly say.
Probably depends on your starting point. Treating tap is so much cheaper and easier than dealing with RO on my rig.
Let the night of many IPAs (well, 2 or 3 at least) commence!
