Come home to a puppy not in his crate. The door was still latched on the top. Think wife didnt secure bottom latch enough and he pried his way out? Not sure. He's too big for that though...

Hope puppy isn't becoming a wizard and managed to open the door and then reclose it. He's supposed to be too dumb for that.

Did he at least stay out of trouble?

Ours are pretty good at going to their crates at bedtime, but the younger dog will go looking for trouble if we try to leave her out unattended. The one night we must have forgotten to actually latch the door, because I woke up the following morning and she was waiting outside the bedroom door like, "oh hey, 'bout time you got up!" I went downstairs, expecting the worst...garbage can knocked over, shoes chewed up, whatever. Nope, nothing. She must have just laid in the crate all night until she realized the door was open, then went looking for her people when she got bored.

Yeah, he didn't do anything bad, so that's good. I dont think he was out for long though I have no idea. I have a camera setup, wasn't recording because I stream it at work.. never saw anything. But with the door still closed I wouldnt have noticed anyways. Did hear him barking some.

Man am I tired. Maybe that lunch beer was a bad idea.

Lunch beer makes me tired, if I have to go back to work. There is little I hate more than having a beer, then not being able to have another beer. This day sucks. I'm going home. Drive safe anyone with less than okay weather.

Seems like an odd choice to release a gose in winter.

I suppose, but not my choice. I told Sierra Nevada to contact me about releases and they haven't yet. I still wait. :D
Some guy told me the same thing though. He said on principle he refused to buy it. I shrugged and asked if he refused to buy stouts in the summer and he actually said yes.

I don't think beer needs seasons.

I'm detecting a trend.

Just kidding, beer is never a bad idea.

Sometimes I make the mistake of hitting up one of my favorite spots for lunch and a couple beers during the week. I hardly ever end up going back to work afterwards and 99% of the time, I spend the rest of the day in a food coma. Last time this happened, I ate a Belly of the Beast burger (huge cheeseburger with all the fixins including a large slab of pork belly), fries, and a couple high ABV beers. I was like a beached whale on the couch when I got home.

Eh, that's a little extreme. I'm not preparing a boycott or anything, I just like gose better as a lawnmower beer. :)
