It should. BCBW is third use barrels after BCBS. Should have a lot of barrel character. The saision will be a rye saison and will be 4th use (2nd from me). Luckily I going to brew a 15 gallon batch at my friends at B-52 so I can fill two barrels in 2 batches. The barelywine needs several because I want a high abv on it.

Awesome! I wish I had a setup where I could brew all 15 in one batch and not split it up into two. Should be fun at B52!

So... Did you ask how long you have to work there before they let you use their pilot system for personal use?

Depends on the brewery. I know one brewery that forbade Rush from being played (I think it was even in their last brewer job posting that you couldn't even like Rush). I know another where if you hate the Dead or Phish, you won't last long.

Typically seems to be a "rotating the tunes" amongst the staffers kind of thing. Had one just want to make sure I wasn't into Justin Bieber or Lawrence Welk or something. Had another peg me right away when I mentioned reggae, combined with short hair and chops. He's an old punk. Go figure. Not sure if that's why they didn't hire me though.

Of course the one who DID hire me liked old punk and a bunch of old gothy stuff, which I can deal with, but warned me that come the holiday season it's Xmas music not stop, which would have gotten old fast. Incidentally he was the one wanting to make sure I didn't like Bieber, so I got him Bieber's Christmas album as agag. It's a shame about all the bullsh** at that place making us both walk away, because we're still tight and badmouth it constantly, and I would have enjoyed working with the guy.

I'll see how it goes and maybe do the barelywine in there. I do not know its limitations of their system. The barelywine needs 60+lbs for 15 gallons . Havent brewed in a while need too. PLus I need to drink some HB down.

Yeah, the Dead one is that the head brewer is really into the dead and the brewery has several other people who go on the Jam Cruise (they have even held jams at the brewery).

I had to look up the other posting and it wasn't just Rush. lol

Agree to and follow the policy of no Santana, Jimmy Buffet or Rush played on brewery premises.

Wow. I was actually thinking about that game the other day. My wife mentioned some new-er-ish Mortal Kombat game where there were some sort of combo things (that was supposed to be horrible), and it reminded me of Killer Instinct. I was only ever able to pull of the biggest combo with the skeleton character.

I saw, for XBox One, which I don't have. I'm still on the 360 and let my Live account lapse once I no longer needed it to stream TV/movies via whatever apps.

Once I get the newest get of console (eventually) we're going PS4 anyway.
