on the merther flerkern caupfghey! also getting stuff ready for our sons' 5th B-Day party. Parental Life Hack: Get your small children things you want for their birthday. This year I got him some Backwoods Bastard and Surly Pentagram.

I like where this is going. I have a couple to post when I get home but I don't think I can beat that.

Off topic: coffee at Barnes and Noble. Many beers last night also.

The worst thing is I have some 800 Sq ft of it. I like it, but there is too much of it in my 70s porn dungeon basement.

How much do those run?

Actually been thinking about a similar setup for heating strike water. But that's another discussion.

$199 on Amazon.

It would work to heat small batches of strike/sparge water. More if you used it for fine tuning water temp that was heated with a larger burner, since it has a max of 4 to 5 gallons.

Excited to teach the wife how to work it, ready to eat healthier and better this year. This is going to help.

It's a discussion I dare say you should have here.

Because I also wanna know.

I've seen people use immersion heaters on a timer to start heating strike water so it's ready in the AM. Most don't have recirculating functions like I assume the one Job has does. I'll have to look up the part again - bee awhile since I've thought about it.

When I saw Jon's picture, I was thinking it could be a good solution for step masking. Pump wort through a coil to continuously spurge and heat as needed. How quick is it on bumping the temp?

Serious win there. Kid's going to only play with the box anyway! Water. Just finished the annual jigsaw puzzle of stuffing all the Christmas decorations under the basement steps.

Coffee, I use creamer on weekends. Unless my wife buys the nasty flavors.

Time to take in recycling for beer money! It's a vicious cycle.

I think I might regret stuffing the bottles into the pinata though.:pipe:

Pretty fast, I didn't time it but it heated hot tap water to the target temp in a few minutes.

I can play around with the temp a little bit if you want to know.

You thinking a copper coil in a water bath to adjust the temp through heat transfer instead of direct contact, correct?

Just saw some serious beer porn on Twitter: Side Project and Casey collaboration.

They might as well have made the bottles out of gold because I'm sure that's where they will trade.

Jealous. I think I'm going to get one, I just need to justify it a little more.

Opened a few good beers last night. I haven't left the bed yet, but I need more coffee. The muppet is enjoying the lazy day.

The justification will be the first time you eat a perfectly cooked slab of protein.
I have a makeshift setup and will be picking up a premade one shortly.
