Followed-up with Beergrains.com (who I bought the Barley Mill from) about the damage to the 15lb hopper. Super-quick response and resolution - I couldn't be more satisfied. They're located about 2 hours away from Ottawa in Deep River, and one of their staff is driving to an event on Sunday at a pub about a 10 minute walk away from me and he's bringing a free replacement hopper and will deliver it to me on Sunday morning.

Plus I don't think the people here have an itchy report finger. Mouse? Keypad? However you report stuff, I'm not judging.

Its always nice when stuff like this works out. I used my new BC last weekend and like it a lot. Wish I had the 15 lb hopper, mine just has the 7.

Damn y'all get busy when I don't have time to check in. Got my Irish red bottled last night, warm and flat sample was farkin delicious. I think I brewed it too soon, not likely I will have any left for St Patrick's unless I keep the bourbon shelf stocked...

Home roasted coffee blend this morning. Damn good

Wasn't @finsfan just looking for an Irish red recipe??

Yesh, people seem determined to make the mods close all my favorite threads. Oh well.

This has been an interesting day. They are trying to rebrand our help desk. Changing my phone answering greeting from help desk to service center (what are we an automotive or appliance repair shop?) is going to be a terribly difficult habit to break.

I want a beer. Where is my red binder?

The baby name advise I was given and listened to was to go outside and yell the full name. If it didn't sound right you couldn't use it when they're in trouble.

Those kind of look like pasties. Where is Yooper? I'm sure she is a connoisseur of pasties.

Yup, just without rut-veggitals. Oh, and if you want to summon her, you need to say @Yooper with reverence.

Wish they made more of the IT Crowd.

Belly full of office chilli competition foodstuffs, debating calling my entire staff into a two hour long Friday afternoon meeting in a small conference room. Wonder who's sense of smell is the worst and will last the longest. :D

Reported.

Alright... back on track before this whole thing goes down in flames.
