The best tip I can give is....... hire it out.

I have done a ton of mud and can do a decent job, but it always take way too long. A pro gets it done fast.

2nd that...i do all other home remodeling. Hate to mud.

We have a drywall guy at work that does all of our repairs, he says the key to mudding is not to sand, use a barely damp sponge instead.

I'm more than willing to bet that I've racked those posts up when drinking when I get a bad case of logorrhea. Like when I've had 14 beers in the span of 2 or 3 hours. I should probably stop doing that.

You won't get far using a sponge. You need really, really big tires and 4WD.
