Thanks everyone. Such a sad situation. I don't even know how you would recover from something like that.

Testing the fit on the graphics. Need to touch up the windows and paint in the lights/grill before clear coat.

The slotcartalk is strong in this one.

I could be less lazy and search this site, but how did you center the bars?
The trick is (may not be a trick at all) is to center the metal washer and use a slow setting cement. Center it like a potter molding clay. A light touch as it spins centers it perfectly.

Then let the cement between washer and fan set. The magnets are easily positioned by eye, confirmed centered as it spins and can be set with a little cement if you want.

Its been a bear to deal with! Decided to up it to an even 20 gallons so added extra dme to each batch and also 8oz maltodextrin to each batch. First one is pitched already, og was 1.102. My efficiency seems to take a hit with a batch of this size.

Boy, you're really shooting for big mouthfeel with the maltodextrin. Not something I have any experience with. OG 1.1 Wow!

Seriously. Gonna be 12 hours if I'm lucky...
Sounds like 12 hours of beer embellished fun if you ask me.

What happened to @finsfan ? Snoozing next to the BK?:D

My watched pot isn't boiling yet. Going to be cutting it close on propane.

Also, to help me refrain from getting drunk while brewing I've been drinking coffee instead. Had almost a full pot, hope I can sleep tonight :)

Is that a napkin? Didn't know they'd made it to flyover country yet.

I'm enjoying this right now. I'm learning to beer better thanks to this great thread. Thanks @1977brewerView attachment 334194

It's really a great one. Worth the cash all things considered. Regular version is also good.

Don't thank me for beer you bought. That's weird.

Wyo, I'm sorry to hear the bad news. My condolences to your friend.

@untaggableGavin thanks for the stir plate advice.

Finished bottling a few sours. I split one batch into many 1 gallon jugs. What a huge pita. Probably the last time I split a batch that much, but I had 5-6 yeasts I wanted to try.

Having some fruited lambic style beers I brewed in 2010. One strawberry (meh) and cherry is up next.
