Add some L.A. Guns, G & R appetite for destruction, AC/DC maybe some Priest and you have my high school music track

Truer words...

I've been there. The beer and watching kids smiles almost make it bearable..

On to some fresh hops

I think I have another of those in the fridge.

Ima drink that.

I've actually had Citra Ass Down, now that you mention it. I thought it was pretty good, along with Rico Sauvin. Brown Note was ok, and Mac Fanny Baw was just weird. They have a lot of hype, I was figuring it was from release beers you can't get.

Some of them. Kentucky ryed Chiquen is mediocre. I will say though that I had s bretted old ale from them that was very good. Not coming up with the name though.

They're a fine brewery, just not worth the excitement they generate for me. And the branding makes them gimmicky.

The only science I get tonight.

Till I calibrate my pH meter.

Exciting stuff.

Kiddos bath time then beer and mill grains.

My DEM recipe turned into a kitchen sink recipe. Misjudged what malts I had.

Hope it's still OK

Don't know you were slangin that rock.

Where's your corner? I'll be in your hood, or adjacent, for most of next week.

I'll bring the shut up.

Actually, a competition sounds like too much work. Let's put the tape measures away and just drink some beer, shoot some stuff, set stuff on fire and smoke some meat. First round is on me.

They get a ton of hype, but don't live up for me either. Rico Sauvin is good, but I wouldn't go out of my way. People around here act like they're the greatest. Not an uncommon occurrence (see Hearted, Hoof).

I've heard good things about Bo and Luke. But their releases are debacles of cluster**** proportions. No thanks.

Eh, I've had some of theirs that were really good, and others that were really wrong. They did a collab Baltic Porter with Country Boy (who I generally dislike) that was awful.

Country Boy was the king of Hunahpu Day last year. Lines where half a mile long to get a sample. I chose not to attempt anything from them, there was plenty of other choices going on. (~350 different beers)

Seriously? Their Cliff Jumper IPA is good and Cougar Bait gets some buzz from the BMC crowd, but everything else I've tried from them is ok at best.

I told you all I was going to regress
Please somebody tell me they remember this movie

And now watching live maiden, aces high

It's going to be a long night

And now the Number of the beast

Remember it? Mostly. I saw it and This is Spinal Tap at the USL Student Union theater back in the day. I could pull a Crocodile Dundee and say "That's not Live Maiden. What I'll be seeing on February 28th is Live Maiden." lol Ever heard of Zebra?

Batch 7 (11/12/15)

Batch 8 (1/12/16)

Yeah. Speaking of meat, soppresatta is on the tippy top of cured meats. But this is all I need.

And this slow cooker. The meat and the beer and the slow cooker.

And this lamp.

*Also, cool side note, my mom was born in Duluth, MN.

Really? Coincidentally, I was born a poor black child.

I'm getting hungry, could really go for a Cup o' Pizza, if only they hadn't driven the local pizza in a cup out of business.

He hates cans! More cans! Hope I don't get shot.

Been looking forward to that one. How would you compare to Ethos and 8bit? I love Ethos (sad to see it go), but I never really cared for 8bit.
Sitting down to have my one and only beer tonight. It's been a long week and I'm ready for bed. View attachment 330390

Its pretty close to ethos actually. And they still have 8bit, they nixed 16bit though. Its a good replacement but its just a one time release in their explorer series. They have another ipa coming out , top rope, to replace ethos

I am much more a fan of 8 bit than 16 bit. I am just glad we got VB BS this time round.

I am also a fan of Velvet Rooster, Wooden Rooster is pretty tasty, sad to see it go.

Can't wait to try it. Hopefully it will get here soon.

Big RICC is the best TG beer I've had. I'd be surprised if they had something better.
