Being in the dog days of summer, I'm worried about my house getting too hot. It got well over 100 outside today. Have a brown ale possibly done fermenting in my closet. It could be a couple of days or so before I get this thing replaced. Should I be worried?

If it's done, the impact should be minimal. If you're worried just rig up a simple swamp cooler and direct a fan at it.

Ha! A true brewer, not worried about personal comfort the beer comes first! You could put your fermenter in a bucket of water with ice jugs. A "swamp cooler"

I put it in a tub but I'm not ure I have the room for a jug. What about ice in ziploc bags? Also cant it get too cold? How often should I switch out the bags?

Sure that will work. Annything to chill it down. I'd try to get the water down around 60F. That should provide a nice temp for your wort.
