For those in the Twin Cities (MN) area: entry drop off locations are currently Northern Brewer (Roseville) and Beer Miester (Medina). Check the web site to confirm this information.

NB has been a long time participant in Twin Cities based local / regional / national (e.g. NHC 2017) competitions.

Good to see Beer Meister being involved in the home brewing competition community as well!

"pro tip": bottle sort is often a good source of packaging material for that next competition.

There are a couple of fall/winter competitions in the "North Coast" region.

Hoppy Holloween (Fargo ND, sold out)
This year is the 27th annual Hoppy Halloween Challenge (link). Run by Prairie Homebrewing in Fargo ND (they were a stop in Papazin's "Microbrewed Adventures"). Solid competition, NB used to be a drop off point.
Hoppy Holloween Challenge sold out less than a day this year. It's on the Master Homebrewer Program [MHP] (link) competition list.
FWIW, +1 to Hoppy Holloween Challenge as they did open registration at noon CDT (not midnight) on the 9th.

NBA home brew competition (Twin Cities)
Historically, Nordeast Brewers Alliance has a competition in December. Watch their web site for details.
Double check the MHP site to see if this competition is (or is not) listed.
And perhaps most importantly, check the MHP web site for any other competitions you are considering entering (and "plan accordingly").

The homebrew competition presented by Primary Fermenters, Brewers and Vintners is open to non-professional brewers from Minnesota. Registration at mnstatefair.brewingcompetitions.com

It's also a opportunity (bottle sorting, stewarding, judging, ...) to connect with the local/regional community.

Another competition (start planning for 2026) to consider.
