Has anyone seen or heard anything about the 2024 Mazer Cup? As far as I knew it was always in October but I can't find anything at all on line. I'm a bit baffled, actually. Everything I am seeing is in reference to the 2023 comp.

It is listed on Circuit of America for November but no days yet.

If you check out the facebook page for it, there are people complaining that as of like 2-3 months ago, no medals had been sent from last year's comp...but i'm following that page too...hopefully we all hear something soon.

That seems quite strange. How have they come completely disorganized all of the sudden? Seems like having this in either October or November would be nearly impossible at this point.

Mazer Cup registration opens on 9/1 per a post in the Competitive Brewing group on Facebook, though the website still has not been updated from last year yet, so who knows.,

Thinking about entering something in this, but I worry about the heat with shipping.

Some competitive brewers use these small ice packs Luna Ice Packs when shipping comp entries in warm weather. You just want to make sure you double bag them to prevent condensation from soaking the shipping box. I also do two day air shipping with UPS when shipping in hot weather using Pirate Ship, a third party shipping site that offers steep discounts on UPS shipping.

What is your concern with the heat exactly? They are judging them at room temp and holding them for days/weeks at room temp. Not trying to bust your balls at all; just curious what the concern is.
