My tiny area in NW Montana is supposed to get like 5-7 cases of Regular BCBS. That's more than we got last year and it still sat around until spring time o_O

1500 cases for Houston. It'll still sell out at 1 bottle per person immediately.

Ever since they started distributing to here it was still easier to just trade for a case or two and have it shipped than drive all over tarnation for a bottle or two.

**** everything. :).

Apprently in bev very changed the allocation formula this year so that may be due to increased production as well as the fact that other stores will not be getting as much.
Well we got backyard and stuff two years ago, then last year we got nothing. If two years ago is any indication of this year, it will be easy to get half a case or more of the variants. Stores around here sometimes release them post Black Friday, making it easier as well.

Not going to be as plentiful as backyard in NC, by a longshot

You guys are a bunch of ******* ungrateful ********, and it's really starting to piss me
off!!!

What does GI owe us? NOTHING!! Did we give their company MILLIONS of dollars in 2011???? NO WE DIDNT!!!

They re-release BOURBON COUNTY RARE after everyone wanted them too, they make a nice ******* wooden box for it, they even made new bottles!!!! And the bottles have BOURBON COUNTY ENGRAVED ON THEM!! 11 !!!11
How many other beers have engraved labels!?!?!???
They're only charging 10 dollars more than the FIRST RARE!!!!

You guys are lucky they even release BCBS to the public. They don't make any money on it, they do it cause they love each and everyone of us. It's a job of passion, you're LOCO if you think anybody makes money on these releases .

****** Americans always expecting everything for free.

(You guys are bad at detecting sarcasm, no ducking **** Sherlock there is kegs. Clybourn is tapping some next week... I'm sure they'll be a festival before long where endless amounts of bcbs are available, even THE RARE. Or maybe that was just a drunk dream I had, drinking endless amounts of bcbs for $20 admission to a GI festival . O wait, no, that happened several times. How OG rare had no carbonation in one fest and then 6 months later at the next fest it was greatly carbonated. Also, literally arms full of bcbs filled glasses, for 20$ admission ) but hey , I'll forget ALL that and buy one pint for more than 60$ LOL YEA OOOK
Bruh..

I saw a beer store near Sacramento (Davis Beer Shoppe) advertising online yesterday that they were already selling 2015 BCBS. $12 a bottle, limit 2 per person.

Figured you guys would get a kick out of this. So on BA, a guys lists "ISO:FT BCBCS for VR" Then in the body of his trade "9:1, will provide shipping".

So I decide to PM him and here is our conversation:
  1. Just letting you know, in case you didn't, it's not in 4 packs this year and will be MSRP $12.99 per bottle.

Understood - the going price of VR is pretty high right now so if someone was to have a hookup on buying cases of coffee the $4$ is about the same

What do you mean by going price? Like trade value? And usually $4$ refers to cost versus cost of bottles, not what you can sell a bottle for on a third party site. By no means did I BM you to berate your trade, I just wanted to make sure you knew about the new format.

Then I see this ******* initially listed 12:1. So 12 BCBCS at around $13 for one VR? Go **** yourself pal. I hate BA users like this

Since I know yall haven't seen/do not care... but all indications are that Coffee and Regal Rye haven't gotten label approval in time for Black Friday for sale in Texas or to be poured at any event in Texas (other than for free giveaway).

Some official GI twitter accounts are saying Rare and regualar bcs will be the only for sale on Black Friday. Store reps seem to be indicating otherwise. In the end, noone seems to know what the **** is going on. Nobody saying who is selling what, or which variants, or how much anyone got. I'm assuming that it's unknown what they'll be able to legally sell. Are the bottles with the retailers already? Are they in a warehouse?

Now the question is, who dropped the ball with that one? TABC, or GI? Were the labels submitted? In time? Considering that AbInbev's lobbists are pretty crucial to supporting the ridiculous label approval process we are stuck with here, it's pretty funny that they're getting tangled in it. Or they don't givre a ****, because sell on Black Friday or later, every bottle will move regardless.

Either way, I find it HILARIOUS.

Texas gonna Texas.

In related news (tip of the hat to oakwoodaged for showing me this) Georgia is not getting ANY regular BCBS because - get this - Goose Island/ABI sent them the wrong version. Georgia has a 14% ABV cap so they were supposed to get the 13.8% bottling but a mixup caused them to receive the 14.3% version, which they can't sell.

NJ is apparently in the same boat with regards to some of the distribution. Didn't get distribution approval from the state in time so they aren't allowed to sell it until Dec. 1st.

Hahahahaha. Best news I've read all week. Was already looking for excuses to not try and track some down.

I haven't even been shopping for this yet and already have 5 bottles of regular. Apparently a shitload of places around Sacramento have been seeing regular pop up for around $10-12. Upwards of 5-8 cases of it showing up in shops and stores. I hope it isn't too bad on Black Friday, but then again I do because I want to read this thread and laugh.
