Regarding the BCBS I've seen on the shelf:
2012 was 15%
2013 was 14.1%
2014 was 13.8%
2015 is rumored to be 13.5%...

It has been getting worse with the decreasing ABV as well.

Except in America it would be called a "session imperial stout" and be "only" 6%.

I don't feel like a slightly lower abv has caused any ill effects. Again, the '09 bottles were around 13% and everyone argues that they taste amazing right now. So, why should we be concerned that the last batch was around 13.4 and 13.9% abv?

Those that have done the entire Bourbon County Variant tasting in the past, which order do you suggest opening the bottles (not including this years releases)?

Pretty sure '09 is 15%, but it's also wildly overrated IMO.

I thought 2014 13.8% was awesome fresh out the gate. It seems to be holding up a little better than the 14.4% recently too, but I haven't opened a ton of 14.4s.

I've had many '09 bottles in the last year (bomber and 12oz). I enjoyed them all but I wouldn't trade for anymore at this point. The bourbon notes are completely gone. Carbonation is minimal.

The 2011/2012's are at their peak. Still have the carbonation and bourbon to not taste like its been aged to death.

Newest to oldest. That way you can see how the beer changes over time.

They are weirdly accurate with the whole "will develop in the bottle for 5 years" thing. seems to be about the time it nosedives.
