i think im going to get a new car, with the cash for clunkers rebate... which one would you choose, the accent or elantra? reviews are good for both, there cheap, and have great warrantys, good gas mpg.

the elantra is slightly more expensive but has a bigger motor

im probably looking at $150 a month payments for 72months

I'm buying an Elantra on Friday. We actually picked it out last month when the "Cash for Clunkers" was being set up. It's got awesome reviews, and little extras like an USB port for my IPOD.

We looked at the Accent, but it's way too small for me. If I was a bit younger, though, I'd get the Accent. I'm too old to ride for long in a small car, and even though the Elantra was small, it had better support in the seats and more leg room. The Accent gets even better gas mileage than the Elantra, and it's a cute little car.

We're finally getting rid of our 1990 Suburban that I took everywhere when I was raising my kids. My 17 year old is driving the Suburban today.

With the CARS bill, and the $3500 rebate from Hyundai ($2000 rebate and a $1200 fleet discount and internet discount), we are paying about $9500 for the Elantra. Much less than a Toyota Corolla with similar options. In fact, the Elantra is a nicer than the Corolla, with a few more options.

I had a '02 Elantra and after that one got totaled I bought an '08. Like Yopper said it has plenty of room. They’re great cars with a very comfortable ride. I never had either one in the shop for single repair.

In ‘bang for your buck you’ can’t beat it for standard equipment and warranty. I’d buy another one with out a doubt.

nice, whats a fleet discount? where do i find the internet discount? im looking at $14,790 for the 2009 Accent - $4500 cars/clunkers rebate so $10300 about

I contacted a dealer (we don't have any local) via the internet, and they told us about the "fleet discount" and the internet discount, for an extra $1200 off the price.
