last night i decided to whip up a 2 gallon lager for the hell of it..simple extract batch 2.25lbs pilsen dme and steeped 1.75oz carapils and saaz hops and a pack of 34/70 thats been in the fridge for quite awhile..im not so experienced with lagers only brewed a few..question is i did not rehydrate the yeast i just sprinkled the yeast onto the wort...im aware that this will cause some cell death but do you think there will be enough yeast to finish the job? i have some danish lager yeast should i add it or should i be good...another thing i wanna say is dont brew when your hammered..i dropped a piece of unsanitized tin foil into this batch...wonder what im gonna see growing on this beer in a few weeks:smack:
